Alameda County Community Food Bank is in urgent need of volunteers to help us build EMERGENCY FOOD BAGS and prepare fresh produce for our partner agencies.

As a disaster response organization, we are always preparing for increased needs or potential disruptions that arise during emergencies. Your assistance is critical to our ability to quickly respond.

In an effort to ensure we follow social distancing and large-gathering guidance we ask that only volunteers who have registered show up for a shift. We genuinely appreciate all support, however, we cannot currently accommodate drop-ins for shifts.

The health and safety of our volunteers, clients, partners, staff and entire community is paramount. In keeping with CDC guidance, we ask that adults 65 or older, people with serious underlying medical conditions or exhibiting symptoms of any illness, anyone who has traveled internationally, and/or is in any other high-risk group stay home at this time.
